Mark Bittman wrote a great article about streamlining your kitchen in the New Year. For those of you who have little time to shop or cook, he suggests keeping your cupboards stocked with lots of staples and supplementing that with fresh vegetables, meat, and dairy once a week. Some of his suggestions: frozen shrimp, tubes of tomato paste, whols grains, and sweet potatoes.
